In mathematics and physics, a soliton is a self-reinforcing solitary wave (a wave packet or pulse) that maintains its shape while it travels at constant speed [Wikipedia].
In 2011, Solitons were the topic of one of the Review Courses at the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences in Muizenberg, South Africa.
